The Twenty Two, a London-based hotel, restaurant, and private members’ club, has opened its first U.S. location in New York City. Located near Union Square, the new outpost blends high-end design with heritage, as it occupies a historic building formerly known as the Margaret Louisa Home for Protestant Women. This 80,000-square-foot property includes 17 suites a rooftop penthouse and a private members’ area.
The on-site Café Zaffri features an acclaimed all-female culinary team from Michelin-endorsed establishments. Public dining spaces and more amenities will roll out soon.
Located just south of the Flatiron district, The Twenty Two’s New York club is housed in the historic Margaret Louisa Home for Protestant Women, established in 1891 by socialite Margaret Louisa Vanderbilt Shepard. Originally a YMCA, the building has been tastefully restored by Alexy Kos and Che Huang of London’s Child Studio, blending modern elegance with its rich heritage.

London’s venue is housed within a 42,500 square feet Edwardian manor house located on Grosvenor Square, It features 31 bedrooms and suites, a mews house, an all-day neighbourhood restaurant and private members’ club. It was established by entrepreneur Navid Mirtorabi who collaborated with interior designer Natalia Miyar for her first ever hotel project.
