Polls indicate Kamala Harris is losing momentum against Donald Trump as the U.S. presidential election draws near.
With just weeks remaining until Election Day, multiple surveys show Harris’s earlier advantage shrinking or vanishing entirely. On Sunday, three newly released polls reflected the tightening race.
According to an NBC News poll, both candidates are now tied at 48 percent, a significant shift from Harris’s five-point lead in the same survey last month. Meanwhile, the latest ABC News/Ipsos poll gives Harris a narrow edge at 50 percent to Trump’s 48 percent, down from 52 percent to 46 percent in the previous month.
The CBS News/YouGov poll also shows Harris’s lead slipping, now at 51 percent to 48 percent, compared to a four-point advantage recorded earlier.
Real Clear Polling’s aggregation of major polls reveals Harris’s lead has dropped to 1.4 percentage points, down from 2.2 points just a day earlier.
This tightening race has sparked concern among Democrats, with Harris reportedly struggling to maintain solid support from two crucial voter groups—Hispanic and African American communities.
